Chairman’s Message
All praise is to Allah Subhana hu Wataalah for having made it possible for MESWA to document its achievements as a result of consistent activities and programs that the organization has taken since its inception and the need to continue on this path in the future. I recognize that we have managed to become a positive social capital asset, enhancing the quality of people’s lives, and enhancing the productivity of communities in India, in the areas of health, education, science & technology, and the environment.
Since 1990, MESWA has initiated and maintained various programs and projects that aimed towards the improvement of the lives of the less fortunate members of our Society. All thanks to the generous assistance from you and all our well-wishers. It is only through this help that we have been able to assist people and make a social impact across our community.
The magnitude and multi-disciplinary nature of our activities demand an enormous amount of funds to enable the organization to be able to provide quality, efficient and timely services. Through the dedication and support of the entire Muslim community in Uttar Pradesh, India, and other stakeholders we were able to rise from infancy to adulthood in terms of creating opportunities for people and rise to the challenges. As we go forward in this partnership, we have an opportunity to build on our institutional successes and increase support for various causes — but we must seize the moment and the opportunities that lie ahead.
It is well known that institutional support for non-governmental organizations(NGOs) has been extremely limited and these organizations have been weakened by economic problems. However, it has acted as a buffer, whilst we seek new and innovative funding in partnership together, focusing on mutually beneficial interests that provide maximum benefit to target-populations.
It is our sincere hope that our brothers and sisters, other stakeholders, and development partners will always give us their full support morally and financially.
